COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

Located in North Central Washington, Bethlehem Construction, Inc.s Cashmere, Washington location is in quest of a Project Manager/Estimator to join our already strong team of leaders, who list the most important Values of the team as being: Responsible, Motivated, Honest, Enthusiastic, Reliable and Willing to Learn.
As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will estimate and manage commercial projects of precast/prestressed concrete structures. Such structures include: Controlled Atmosphere Buildings for the Fruit Industry, Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Stadiums and Arenas, Transit Bridge Systems, Jails, Wineries and various other structures.
Job Duties:
Estimate preparation and job costing, including detailed project takeoffs, budgets and proposals in large scale construction projects
Preparation of construction contracts, subcontracts, change orders and purchase orders
Reviews drawings and directs the construction of the project
Oversees and manages each project through completion within budget and on schedule
Coordinates the project schedule with production and the construction group
Performs inspections during the build
Attends and leads meetings with owner, subcontractors, staff, vendors
Writes RFI's and Change Orders, as necessary
Tracks budget
Job Requirements:
A bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent, preferred
Minimum (2) two years construction management experience, preferred
Experience in precast/prestressed concrete industry a plus
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Timberline and/or Microsoft Project
Candidate must be well-spoken, professional, and polite especially when communicating with clients
Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, engineers, architects, vendors and clients
Always be alert for safety issues and adherence to safety policies
Self-motivation and positive attitude is essential, as well as willingness to work as part of a team
Willingness and ability to learn new skills and constantly improve one's abilities is a must
Willingness and ability implement directions quickly and correctly
