Essential functions (EF) are those activities that, if not performed, would significantly and fundamentally alter the position.No. EF/SF % of Time Job FunctionsEF 60% Operate, monitor, inspect and maintain water distribution systems, booster pump stations, storage reservoirs, groundwater wells, chlorine injection and water quality monitoring equipment, and supporting components.EF 15% Construct, install, repair and replace water system components.EF 10% Maintain workplace and vehicles in clean and organized condition; keep vehicles stocked with inventory; perform or coordinate maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment.EF 10% Support the job functions of the Water Quality Program Coordinator, Water Technician Serviceman, W/WW Operations and Maintenance Coordinator and Treatment Plant Operators.EF 5% Support construction, operation and maintenance of District-owned Wastewater, Parks, Hydro and Distribution utility systems.EF Ongoing Drive a motorized vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the District.EF Ongoing Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Comply with District policies. Complete all required training.
