Stein in Leavenworth is seeking a positive, hardworking Lead BeerTender to join our dynamic team leading into the busy season. Stein is a 55-tap beer hall with rotisserie-smoked meats and more, soon to be adding cocktails to our bar selection. The BeerTender is a unique role that assists guests in making selections from our craft beer, wine, and liquor menu. BeerTenders are expected to work in the dining room as well, bussing and cleaning as needed, while interacting with our guests to deliver top-notch service in a casual dining environment. All employees must have a do-it-all attitude and flexibility in scheduling. Previous bar and restaurant experience is a plus.
The Lead position requires some employee and office management duties, including but not limited to:
Healthy food, beer, and spirits knowledge
Computer literacy, especially in Excel, Word, and other programs a plus
Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Solid financial management skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Deliver superior guest service with an eye for detail and care for people
Assist in developing ideas and strategies to grow the business

Assist in inteviewing employees
Train and evaluate staff performance
Evaluate and maintain food and beverage inventory
Manage restaurant supplies and control costs to minimize waste
Oversee bar operations
Nurture a positive working environment with an âOpen Doorâ policy
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions among staff
Implement strategies to improve productivity and sales
Starting pay is $14.00-$16.00 DOE per hour plus tips, with a review after sixty days of employment. Please respond with a resume or job summary for consideration.
