Local Leavenworth establishment seeks a talented, detail-oriented, and hard-working Manager to join our already dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality management, guest service, multi-tasking, and problem-solving. Experience with scheduling 20+ employees, bar and kitchen management, and overseeing multiple styles of service are a plus. Must have people skills and complete open availability. This is a Full-Time job that requires a minimum 35-hour work week, and strives to provide a great work-life balance.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
Deliver superior guest service with an eye for detail and care for people
Plan new and update existing menus
Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy
Participate at local food events
Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
Organize and supervise shifts
Manage and lead staff
Hire new employees
Train and evaluate staff performance
Estimate forecast requirements and maintain food and beverage inventory
Manage restaurant supplies and control costs to minimize waste
Oversee bar operations
Nurture a positive working environment with an “Open Door” policy
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions among staff
Implement strategies to improve productivity and sales
Position Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
2+ years of experience customer service management
Healthy food, wine, and spirits knowledge
Computer literacy, especially in Excel, Word, and other design programs a plus
Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Good financial management skills
Time management skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
