Position Summary
The City of Wenatchee is seeking a Staff Engineer to perform design and inspection of major transportation and utilities projects. Prepare plans and specifications requiring application of engineering knowledge. Ensure projects are in conformance with AASHTO and City standards. Monitor project budgets and ensure expenditures remain within budget guidelines. Make recommendations for process improvement. Provide status reports regarding development and forecasted completion of projects.
Qualification Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Must possess an Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.

In addition to Economic Development, other departments include Community Development, Public Works, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, Police, Finance, Human Resources and Information Services.
