We are seeking a dynamic Care Partner, with relevant experience, to support adults with Developmental Differences in reaching their highest potential in a rewarding and active environment.
The mission of Coyote House Adult Family Home at Tierra Village is to provide a collaborative living environment in which adults with diverse abilities are partners in sustaining a healthy and balanced life. Care Partner, formerly known as Care Provider, reflects Tierra's belief that great care stems from a two way partnership in which both parties can grow.
Currently, our 5 residents are highly active with Special Olympics cross country skiing and biking. Additionally they participate in horseback riding, hiking, swimming, have gym memberships, and are receiving Employment Services. Some residents are employed or seeking employment. We are constantly on the go in our Leavenworth and Wenatchee communities and love to be busy!
The Care Partner will collaboratively provide a safe, caring, engaging home environment for residents as well as actively support residents involvement in on and off-site community activities. This position will oversee planning, scheduling and preparation of nutritious, fresh organic (as possible) meals & snacks. Participate and oversee housekeeping to ensure our home is clean and well maintained (inside and outside).
Shifts are Wednesday through Fridays 2:30PM to 9AM. $242.00 per shift, plus $16.48 for hours worked in addition to shift (example staff meeting). After 6 mons. of successful employment, medical stipend of $300 per month. Dental and Vision insurance co-pay, and Retirement plan matching up to 3%. Must posses valid drivers license and successfully pass DSHS background requirements and driving record.
