Agricultural HR/ Bookkeeper
Fantastic office management opportunity located in beautiful Lake Chelan with a fast-growing, vertically integrated organic tree fruit company. We are looking for a person with agricultural HR training and experience, who is organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. We operate an orchard management company, a packing facility, a fruit stand and an e-commerce grocery store. The office manager will eventually assume certain roles for each of these separate entities.

Position Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping activities related to accounts payable and payroll.
Processing mail, copying, scanning, and emailing out company correspondence
Responsible for hard copy and electronic document filing and protocols, including employee records
Maintaining company calendar and tracking various company deadlines
H2A guest worker program paperwork, compliance support and recordkeeping
Managing L&I and unemployment claims through State online databases
Updating company written policies, including accident prevention/safety programs, employee manuals, hiring procedures and food safety programs, and helping orchard managers ensure compliance with them
Provide clerical support as needed to management team
Responsible for all record keeping and compliance with all farm related audits, such as SQF, DOH, L&I, DOL, etc.
Supplies ordering and inventory tracking for the packing shed.
Recruit, interview, select, and train new employees.
Manage correspondence and logistics related to our Co-Op and retail partnerships.
Keeping all our processes up-to-date with the latest technology and apps to maximize efficiency.
