Janitorial Services Sales Representative
The successful candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is organized and resourceful. This individual will join our sales team and be responsible for developing and expanding our business interests in Wenatchee and the surrounding area. In addition to nurturing existing customers, you will be responsible for bringing in new business and providing ongoing customer service. You will work with our Sales Team to implement a sales plan that develops a healthy customer base with aggressive account penetration throughout the territory.
Responsibilities
Responsible for working with the Sales Team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships.
Responsible for the development and delivery of proposals, and presentations as required.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
Maintain professional relationships with potential, new and existing customers. Represent the company image in all interactions with customer base.
Generate new business leads by networking and by attending local events, and participating in various organizations.
Participate in professional and personal development programs to refine sales skills.
Responsible to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, while being careful to resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently.
Manage account services through quality checks.
Prepare status reports including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships through preplanned and organized route visits.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have an forceful and engaging personality and documented success with strategic selling
Strong communication skills combined with tenacity.
Must have the ability to persuade and influence others, to develop and deliver presentations, and to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Consistent professional appearance and demeanor.
Solid knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based document sharing.
This outside sales position requires significant travel and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Must have own reliable transportation.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's with extensive experience in successful outside sales. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Extensive knowledge of the janitorial process with proven track record closing deals with top decision makers.
Must have knowledge of and experience in market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
Must be well organized and able to prioritize assignments.
Must have a clean driving record.
Pay will be commensurate with experience.
