Western Peterbilt is hiring for an Outside Parts Sales Representative who will serve as the parts account manager for existing and prospective customers, traveling as needed to provide on-site customer support to achieve assigned sales and profit objectives.

Minimum Job Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, one year of work experience

Two years parts sales experience, preferably in the commercial vehicle industry

Valid driver license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract

Desired Job Qualifications

3 years direct customer facing sales experience

Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Heavy duty truck aptitude

Strong organization, communication, and telephone skills

Demonstrated computer proficiency - researching parts on-line, communicating via email and conducting business system sales transactions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Specific vision abilities are required. Employee is required to drive a motor vehicle for extended periods of time and travel frequently from the office to customer sites. Employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
