After 30 years Transportation Maintenance Facility Master mechanic has decided to retire, creating an opening for a Master Diesel Mechanic. We are looking for a seasoned, knowledgeable, long term, team player who is willing to go the distance in delivering the high quality mechanical work our customers have become accustomed to. Duties and Responsibilities
Truck Repair Gas+ Diesel
Repair trailers and chassis
FMCSA Inspections
Welding
Other Duties as Assigned
Bonus: Experience with Reefer Repairs and air conditioning repairs
Qualifications and Requirements
Must have a mechanical background of 5 years.
At least 5 year of verifiable trailer/chassis and truck repair experience.
Must have own tools.
Have welding experience.
Willing to occasionally work from mobile service truck.
Be a team player with good communication skills.
Good verbal & writing skills.
Occasional on call and overtime.
All candidates must provide a clean drivers abstract, possess a current and valid drivers license, pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
Working Conditions
Ability to regularly lift and manipulate heavy objects.
Willingness to work outdoors during inclement weather.
Compensation: $25.00+ per hour or DOE
