We are currently looking for a skilled Shop/Equipment Mechanic to join our Anderson Landscaping team.

Our Shop/Equipment Mechanic candidate will lead our fleets diagnose, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of light and heavy equipment (motorized and non-motorized) in a safe and efficient manner. Applicants for this position must have experience performing mechanical work, repairs, welding, servicing electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as repairing diesel and gas powered engines.
The position involves work performed in the shop and field. Candidate will report directly to our Construction Manager.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a self-motivated, fast-paced team environment and will have the ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines. Must possess a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and take initiative with priorities and maintaining their skill level.
Competitive wages, pay is determined on experience. Position is part-time, seasonal, with the potential for future expansion. Health Insurance option after probationary period.
Skills Required:
Experience with operating light and heavy equipment (motorized and non-motorized)
Experienced in welding/fabrication/electrical/hydraulic systems
Valid drivers license
Skills Preferred:
5 years mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and repairs experience (preferred)
Proficient in auto repair and maintenance (gas and diesel)
Skilled in equipment repair and maintenance (skid steer, ditch witch, excavators, back hoe, dump trailers, etc.)
Candidate has own tools (preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
