Description of role:
Our residential construction business is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. The Project Manager's job is to oversee each project from conception to the finished structure, interfacing with both construction professionals and the client. You must be willing to travel to visit and work on job sites. The position includes benefits, competitive salary and paid time off. The job includes both hands-on and administrative duties.
Skills and requirements:
Proven working experience in construction management
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Exceptional customer service skills and a team player
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality and professionalism
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously - must be detail oriented and flexible
Demonstrated ability to follow-up and follow through on assignments and projects
Substantial field operations experience and familiarity with standard construction practice
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
Experienced and knowledgeable in all construction trades
Able to read architectural drawings and structural specification sheets
Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
