The Line Cook is responsible for prep, set up and providing quality service in all areas of food production in accordance with guided specifications while maintaining organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. This position works evening.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare food orders, following food production standards, predetermined recipes, proper use of measuring devices to ensure portion control, delivering quality and consistency with every dish
Participate in required training, including learning new menu items
Possess knowledge and follow food and healthstandards and regulations
Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, guests, and management
Maintain clean service areas, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen
Be ready and willing to assist co-workers as necessary
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years line cook experience in a commercial kitchen
Health Department reg and Food Safety knowledge
Food Handler's permit
Availability to work evening, weekends and holidays
