The Summitview Cowiche Veterinary Clinic is seeking to fill two full time positions for a Licensed Veterinary Technician. We are committed to providing reasonable work schedules. The shifts for this position range from 4-5 days per week with an occasional Saturday (8-12). Each weekday shift ranges from 8-10 hours.

Applicant Qualifications: Well suited individuals are detail oriented, proactive in anticipating the needs of clients, patients and co-workers. You must be able to work in partnership with the entire team and express yourself well through both written and verbal communication. Accurate typing and computer skills are required. Outstanding customer service skills are of utmost importance. Experienced technicians as well as new graduates will be considered.
Requirements:
-Current Washington State Veterinary Technician License.
-New graduates must obtain their license within 90 days of graduation.
Responsibilities:
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
-Animal Restraint
-Venipuncture/IV Catheter placement
-Anesthesia induction and monitoring
-Prescription refills
-Radiology
-Cleaning
-Surgical preparation and assistance
-Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more
-Client communication
-Utilization of our Veterinary Software
-Utilization of a multi-line phone system
Benefits We Offer: Competitive hourly wages depending up on experience. Vacation time and Simple IRA benefits are available after a year of employment. Yearly license fees are paid after first year.
