Local commercial janitorial company looking to hire individual for evening, full-time janitorial position. Our company has been in business for over 30 years, serving many in several areas.
This position is Monday-Friday, 35-40 hrs per week. Experience is preferred but not required, we will train.
Duties can include but are not limited to:
Perform a wide variety of routine and comprehensive janitorial duties
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
Clean glass surfaces and mirrors
Change out soiled dust mops, wet mop heads and cleaning rags
Dust furniture, fixtures, surfaces and equipment
Gather and empty trash, clean trashcans inside and out
Refill all bathroom and kitchen dispensers
Follow procedures for using chemicals
Monitor building by making sure doors are locked and alarm set
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a background check some work is in federal buildings
Must be 18yrs old
Must be able to be insured on company’s auto insurance
This job is medium to heavy work. Prolonged and repeated use of hands and wrists. Long periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 30lbs.
Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with a signing bonus of $100 offered after a 90 day probation.
