Seeking a Front Desk/Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant. Duties include scheduling, re-scheduling missed visits, collecting payments, setting up payment arrangements, verifying insurance benefits, getting prior authorization for MRI's CT's etc., entering charges, faxing referrals, communicating with referring providers, rooming patients, entering patient data into billing and documentation software, taking vital signs, i.e., blood pressure with wrist cuff, height, weight, etc, calling prospective patients that have requested a consultation, treatment room clean-up/prep, opening and closing procedures, supervise therapies as needed, filing, meeting with referring providers, assisting the billing department, processing records requests and other duties as assigned by the doctor or billing manager.

The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple responsibilities at once. Must have good business English language skills, be able to alphabetize charts, do basic math, and have good spelling skills. Familiarity with insurance terminology is also required. Familiarity with medical terminology is desired.
