The Tax Assembly Coordinator is responsible for processing accurate and timely client deliverables and filings with governmental agencies. The Tax Assembly Coordinator works closely with client facing professionals and displays strong organizational and communication skills while balancing multiple responsibilities and deadlines. This position reports to the Tax Assembly Specialist or Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:
Process client deliverables, including tax returns, extensions, and notice responses in an accurate and timely manner following quality control standards
Assist with binder closing procedures and compliance following quality control standards
Communicate project deadlines, status updates and workflow questions
Update and monitor due date tracking schedules
Proactively plan work to meet client deliverable deadlines
Assist in the delivery of tax organizers and scanning client data
Provide alternative solutions to solve client issues
Anticipate client needs, actively listen, and follow through on client expectations
Manage and maintain inventory of kitchen and office supplies, including printer paper and toner supplies
Provide reception coverage as required
Manage mail, FedEx, UPS, and courier requests
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
Attention to detail and ability to comply with checklists and reference tools
Client service oriented (both internal and external)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
Demonstrates ability to problem solve
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Adept at learning new technology
Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
May require some overtime hours
