Blue Sky Bridal, a bridal consignment and sample store, is hiring part-time bridal stylists! Since 2007, Blue Sky Bridal has been connecting gorgeous gowns with eco-conscious brides! Our bridal store is the only bridal consignment store in Seattle and Portland!

We're looking for bridal stylists to join our Seattle and Portland stores! This is a part-time position, roughly 15-20 hours a week. Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule.

We're looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, has a natural ability to sell and has a passion for all things bridal. You must be professional, positive, friendly and be able to offer great customer service to every bride who walks in the door. Must help to maintain our reputation of offering exceptional customer service in a friendly and stress-free environment. Responsible for keeping our inventory in great condition by taking care of the dresses during the appointments. Must be able to multi task.

Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in retail and/or a formal education/background in the fashion industry. College students pursuing a fashion degree or those with a strong background/work history in retail, merchandising, styling, fashion, alterations, high-end retail or bridal are encouraged to apply!

As a bridal stylist, you'd work one-on-one with brides in an intimate setting. You will be responsible for helping brides throughout the entire wedding dress shopping experience, giving great customer service along the way!

Your role will include:

Greet customers and introduce them to the store

Assist clients in selecting and trying on gowns

Offer clients advice and assistance on alterations

Re-shelve/hang unwanted merchandise

Keep racks organized, help maintain the current condition of the dresses

Prepare sales slips/invoices

Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment

Meet with consignors, prepare paperwork

Process new merchandise into inventory

Tag, arrange and display merchandise as requested

Keep track of dresses, as they move in and out of inventory

Maintain records related to sales and consignors, file paperwork accordingly

Answer phone and schedule appointments

Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise

Maintain knowledge of current inventory and industry trends

Maintain knowledge of internal policies and security practices

Assist with social media

Generate positive reviews

Help maintain a clean shop space

Represent store in a positive, professional manner
