We are a small, fun startup with several really cool products that we need help shipping as we have customers waiting for these products. Primarily, we need help testing our product and building some really cool back end repositories for content. If you have any experience with AWS, PostgreSQL and/or JavaScript that would be a big plus. If you are a computer science major with a year left to get your degree, you are the ideal candidate.
What you will do:
Design and build front end features for our platform using JavaScript
Build backend databases to store content and provide a simple UI to add, edit and delete the content.
Be a core contributor to our team as we design, create, implement, and test new ideas.
Help develop unit and integration tests for our product. Figure out how to test the scalability of our architecture.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Django and Javascript to do the frontend work.
Knowing anything about AWS and PostgreSQL would be good for the backend work.
Able to take a loosely defined set of requirements, ask the right questions and build a feature that will work
Be a good team player.
Git experience would be beneficial but we can teach you what you need to know
Comfortable with Linux
