Telecommunications Contractor is currently searching for experienced Telecommunications Tower Technician I, II, and III for work in our Pacific Northwest Market. Technicians will work on building, installation, and/or troubleshooting of wireless antenna systems. Previous construction experience is preferred. Technicians must be able to adhere to rigid safety standards while ensuring quality work in a fast paced environment. Regular travel throughout the Pacific Northwest will be required (Crews leave Monday, return on Friday).
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
-Assist with Installation of antennas, mounts, radios, etc.
-Assist with maintenance/installation of wireless cell site which involves working on towers, rooftops, and water tanks
-Assist with civil work including excavation, concrete forms, grounding, trenching, framing, conduit installation, FRP installation, concrete finishing, demolition, basic roofing, H-Frames, etc.
-Compliance with client guidelines including, safety, construction and installation procedures and policies
-Understanding and compliance with company and government operating plans and procedures, including OSHA, FAA, DOT, etc.
-Technician may or may not be periodically assigned to 24-hour "on call" duty to resolve any cell-related or customer issues. (Troubleshooting and Repair)
-Housekeeping and organization skills (maintenance/cleanliness of job site, work vehicle, warehouse, etc.)
-Safe and proper material handling including inventory
-Operation of Aerial Lift Equipment
-Operation of standard and reach forklift
Requirements:
1+ years of construction experience
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (saws, drills, tape measure, level, wrenches, hammer, etc.)
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to routinely travel (Monday-Friday)
Basic Computer/Email Skills
Able to work in face paced demanding environment
Reliable / Flexible with work schedule
Must be able to work overtime
Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs.
Must be reliable, punctual and able to learn and retain new information
Maintain a professional working attitude with co-workers and clients
Comfortable working at heights up to 350+ feet
