Stone Wings II is seeking an experienced hydraulic mechanic
Seeking an entry level mechanic to be trained for permanent employment.
Job duties and Experience include, but are not limited to:
Experience or knowledge with high pressure hydraulic motors
Fabricate, assemble, service, maintain, repair, and test fluid power equipment.
Able to follow blueprints, schematics, or drawings using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.
Verify conformance to specifications using instruments, such as micrometers, Vernier, and calipers.
Assemble fluid power components such as pumps, motors, values, and controls using hand tools and holding devices.
Connects unit to test equipment, and analyzes and records data such as fluid pressure, measure flow, and leakage.
Recommend modifications in unit and test procedures.
Change fluids and brakes on commercial trucks.
Minor maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and equipment (yard goats, forklifts, etc)

Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:

Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused on tasks.
Ability to be on call and work occasional overtime.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be experienced.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work in shop area may be exposed to moderate to high noise levels from operating machinery, gas and oil fumes, and hazards associated with hay presses and related power equipment.
PPE is provided upon hire if needed.
EXPERIENCE: Diesel mechanic experience and hydraulic experience preferred.
