Your Impact:
Support the overall communications mission of a large NIH institute, playing a key role in the execution of content strategy.
Working closely with Publicis Sapient content strategists, experience designs, and federal staff to prepare and publish digital content for the benefit of public health
Identifying pain points in the content lifecycle and enacting change to increase impact, reach, and volume
Your Skills & Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident
Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance – public trust
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with public-facing websites, using content management systems, and performing quality, link, and metadata checks prior to publishing
Experience with content formatting including content layout, style, and font treatments
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain content publishing velocity
Experience reporting on project status, including actions completed, actions planned, and risk
Set Yourself Apart With:
Proficiency in web page design, HTML, CSS, content strategy, search engine optimization or content development lifecycles
Proficiency with federal government websites and federal digital requirements, including Accessibility and Section 508 compliance
Proficiency with content publishing for social and email marketing channels
Experience as a content editor, proofreading for grammar and clarity and using an editorial calendar to ensure delivery against schedules
Proficiency with collaboration tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Scrum, Product, SaFe, or project management or technology certifications
Bachelor’s Degree from college or University
