Job Description

Your Impact:

• Execute concept and usability tests
• Execute other types of qualitative research, including in-person and remote interviews, ethnographies, focus groups, participatory design sessions, diary studies, etc.
• Advocate for the customer/end user in meetings, working sessions and workshops with team members and clients
• Propose optimizations and creative approaches to experiences that cultivate impact for users' needs
• Participate in design workshops with stakeholders
• Lead and manage small project workstreams autonomously
• Analyze research data (qual and quant) and create outputs such as user requirements, consumer journeys, personas and other conceptual frameworks to describe the end-user experience
• Work collaboratively/cross-functionally with other researchers, designers and strategists to determine research-based recommendations
• Communicate research findings in a clear, concise and visual way
• Present research findings and recommendations to team members and clients

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience

The right candidate must show:

• 2+ years conducting primary qualitative research including usability testing
• Exposure to service design, design thinking or product innovation
• Experience managing research recruiters or other research vendors
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity and experience with key online research platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, DScout, Validately, UserTesting.com, etc.

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience using statistical analyses program such as SAS, SPSS, or R.
