The company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer withstrongexperience in tissue machine or paper machine environments to join our engineeringteam. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems specific totissue manufacturing, combined with project experience, a solid understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices, and a strong personal commitment to safety. This position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable equipment performance, supportingcontinuous improvement initiatives, and upholding operational excellence in a high-speedtissue production setting. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Support: Provide mechanical engineering support for day-to-dayoperations, focusing on maximizing uptime and minimizing mechanical failures acrosstissue machine systems. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability: Oversee and support maintenance of keymechanical systems including headboxes, presses, Yankee cylinders, hoods, reels, and auxiliary systems. Project Involvement: Lead or contribute to capital and process improvement projects—such as equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations—ensuring timely executionwithin budget and safety standards. TPM Implementation & Support: Actively support and promote Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and empower operational ownership. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct structured mechanical failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Safety Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all mechanical workmeets company and regulatory safety standards. Participate in safety audits, riskassessments, and safety related training. Documentation & Standards: Maintain up-to-date mechanical drawings, manuals, equipment histories, and preventive maintenance schedules. Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with external suppliers, fabricators, and contractors for mechanical services, spare parts, and equipment procurement. JOB INFORMATIONPosition Title: Mechanical EngineerNumber of Job positions available: 1 for each position

Starting Salary: The proposed salary range is $65,000–$70,000.Workweek:  Standard office hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday throughFriday; however, these hours may vary depending on the specific location and the level ofsupport or issues that arise at the mill.PPE: Personal Protection Equipment will be provided by the company at no cost.
