The Pre-Season Manager plays an integral role in the success of our tax offices by supporting the District General Manager with a variety of office readiness activities. Pre-Season duties include:

Recruiting for the H&R Block Income Tax Course

Executing recruiting and calling campaigns for new and experienced tax professionals

Coordinating and assisting with interviews for tax professionals and receptionists

Supporting tax office associates in meeting continuing education requirements, increasing certification levels, and Skills to Win training

Planning and preparation for tax office open houses

Assisting in execution of Block-a-palooza events

Nurturing and pursuing new local business partnerships as needed

Tax Season duties include:

Leading tax office associates to meet and exceed growth and service quality goals

Managing office staffing, operations, and logistics for two or more tax offices (including at least one large office)

Assisting in development of and executing office-level sales plans

Growing the business through developing local partnerships, managing office community involvement, and modeling and coaching sales and new client growth tactics

Ensuring outstanding client service

Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Prior related retail supervisor experience, or equivalent

2 years of multi-unit retail store management preferred

Prior experience in an Office Manager position preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to lead and influence without authority

Demonstrated aptitude for sales plan execution and desire to grow the business

Leadership and supervisory skills to guide and develop associates

Organizational skills and Microsoft Office (PC) skills a must

Under the management of a Franchise Owner and with the support of a CycleBar Experience team, General Managers must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. General Managers must have the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order build a strong ambassadorship and retain members. The General Manager is rooted in hospitality and upholds our Mission of fueling energetic communal experience.   Requirement: 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience. Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales. Ability to manage and drive 2 revenue streams: memberships and retail. Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
