Medical Laboratory Technician¨¨Job Description:¨
A private practice in Louisville, KY is seeking a highly motivated individual with Laboratory experience for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician in a Physician Office Laboratory. This is a Full Time position, 45 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
Associate's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution¨ a plus
Experience in a Laboratory preferred
Must have a positive attitude, maintaining professional conduct at all times
Must have the ability to work as a team member, with limited supervision as necessary
¨Job Responsibilities:
¨The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:¨
QA/QC of Moderate Complexity Lab¨
Performing screening procedures
Proper handling of Medical Records and Test Results
Reagent and Consumable Supply Ordering and Inventory¨¨¨
Checking patients in, answering phone and scheduling appointments on down time
