Abolitionist Ale Works in a microbrewery, pub and restaurant in downtown Charles Town, WV.
We are looking for a few new energetic and motivated individuals to join our team, our team puts an emphasis on customer service and working together.
Our front of house servers and bartenders (sales people) make over 20% average commission on all sales and we are looking for someone who will be an ambassador for our brand and be motivated to show up on time for every shift and be here to make as much commission as possible through increased sales.
Our ideal candidate is one that is good with people, dependable and able to cross train on multiple jobs (bartending, serving, hosting, cooking)
You must have steady availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Day and Evening.
Server
The server will be expected to run drinks and food back and forth between the bar/kitchen and the tables, take orders via a wireless ipod and assist with cleaning, busing, seating guests and other duties.
We may also ask you to represent the company at various festivals and community events.
We are looking for candidates with restaurant and/or bar serving experience. Previous work in the beer and brewing industry or just craft beer knowledge is also a plus.
Our ideal server will be super attentive and available to our clients needs. Always be interested in learning more and how to grow our return customer base. Our best servers put their phones away and are available and visible out on the floor for their clients.
We regularly host fun events like open mic, live music, stand up comedy, game nights etc.
All applicants must have 1 year of serving experience and must agree to submit manager references for their past 3 jobs. We are looking for someone with character and integrity who is dependable and will show up to work their scheduled shifts on time and be able to work in a team environment.

BOH
We are looking for experienced dedicated, responsible, detail oriented, energetic person to join our kitchen staff on either a part time or full time basis based on availability and experience.
Our shifts are
Mon-Thurs - 2PM-10PM
Friday/Saturday - either 11am-5PM or 5PM-11PM
Sundays 11:30AM-8PM
Primarily we need help covering our weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), however the right candidate will get more hours if desired.
Job - Part Time Kitchen Cook
The right candidate must be able to prepare, cook and get pizzas ready for servers in a sometimes very fast paced, high volume environment with many tickets coming in a short time. We also have a short appetizer menu.
Most importantly the right candidate must be punctual and consistently work their shifts without calling out.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred & health code and standard food safety procedure knowledge is required. Serv Safe Certification is Preferred
Our pizza menu is an artisan one, cooked fast over high heat with unique ingredients and combinations.
The cook will also be responsible for managing the cleanliness of the kitchen during their shift, particularly in regards to to health code specifications, managing prep and taking inventory.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and availability and reliability. Accelerated raise schedule.
Ideal candidate has a schedule open to 2 weekday shifts and 2-3 weekend shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun)
