Our Client, a leader within the industry, is seeking a Senior Application Analyst- Pharmacy for a full time role. This position will be located in Northern West Virginia and can be remote as well. Responsibilities
Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry.
Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
Develops functional requirements, specifications and system design specifications for business requests.
Develops or oversees the development of system documentation, user manuals and training classes for the application suite.
Creates and maintains detailed test plans and scripts.
Evaluates current state processes and identifies gaps to future state process around utilization of applications to maximize departmental and organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
Consistently delivers high-quality services to business stakeholders.
Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
Three to five years’ experience in or supporting clinical or pharmacy department applications, EMR systems in a hospital or ambulatory environment or equivalent Healthcare background is preferred.
Expertise in a minimum of two healthcare clinical application modules/applications as a super user or information technology support analyst.
Proven ability to understand clinical and financial issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions.
Possesses understanding in the areas of application configuration and database concepts. stablished project manager of large scale large projects of 2-6 team members, with experience executing on structured Project Management methodology.
Preferred experience with Cerner Millennium products and Automated Dispensing Medication systems.
