Job Description
We are currently seeking a carpenter. Looking for reliable and honest employees. At least 5 years of experience preferred. Additional skills such as installing cabinets, siding, drywall, and batt or roll insultation are also a plus. Good working knowledge of carpentry materials and the use of all necessary tools is a must. He or she should be capable of working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Framing – Experienced in the framing of walls and ceilings. Wood framing required.
Forming – Experienced in the construction of concrete formwork.
Siding – Experienced in the installation of building sheathing and siding.
Openings – Installation of door and window assemblies.
Ability to safely use all power tools and accurately cut wood and other building materials (ex: impact screw gun, circular saw, miter box, table saw, etc.)
Ability to lift construction equipment and/or materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to lift, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, climb, and crawl.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, a plus.
Roof framing and cabinet setting experience, a plus.
Must be dependable, trustworthy, and work well with others.
Strong work ethic and “can do” attitude.
Dependable transportation (4WD or AWD).
Stand for up to eight hours per day, depending on task requirements.
Occasionally work at heights.
Sustain repetitive hand motion.
Navigate around job sites composed of various terrain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The job duties of a general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required

Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
