Description
Plumber: Possess the knowledge and ability to independently install and perform maintenance on piping systems for air, natural and industrial gases, steam and condensate return, water, storm and sanitary sewer lines. Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, lavatories, water closets, urinals, gas and electric water heaters, water coolers, and pumps. Fabricate piping systems using pipe manufactured from steel, copper, ABS and PVC plastic, poly gas services terra cotta and cast iron soil pipe. Plan and layout work and select proper materials. Read and interpret plans and specifications. Have a proven history in plumbing/pipefitting skills where the ability to perform the major responsibilities has been demonstrated. Knowledge of and ability to work with hand/power tools. Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding. No physical restrictions that would inhibit individual from lifting to 50 lbs. Certification in backflow prevention (assembly, testing and repair). Snow Removal Services to include utilization of snow removal equipment and or labor efforts.
Lead: Responsibilities of the lead position are as follows; Perform the duties and carry out the responsibilities of their assigned job classification.
Serve as the Primary contact point within the job family for the purpose of providing assistance in the planning of future work, requisitioning material and receiving Company generated work assignment. Delegate Company generated work assignments to represented employees within the like job family utilizing the staff in the most efficient and economical means possible. Provide the status of work assignments to the Company on an as requested basis. The Company has the primary responsibility for checking, a lead has the secondary responsibility to verify that the work is being done and properly executed.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This would require the ability to lift to 75 pounds. The employee is frequently required bend or stand as necessary, with considerable amounts of walking carrying small tool for trade and or supply materials.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:15 PM (subject to modification with prior notice)

Required Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role or related field
Must have valid driver’s license
Certification in backflow prevention (assembly, testing and repair).
Must possess or be able to obtain a CDC/NIOSH Security Clearance.
Shall possess the following certifications:
Registration and license from Allegheny County at Master or Journeyman level
Preferred Education and Experience
Master Plumber License
