Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise with management on consulting best practices and recommendations for teams across the organization.

You will work with Process Owners, SMEs, and PEACE (Process Efficiency and Automation Center of Excellence) Team to drive and deliver fast-paced, meaningful efficiency projects throughout the Enterprise in support of the PEACE program.

Lean Six Sigma Analystrole will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Leverage Lean Six Sigma advanced, team-based problem-solving methodologies to:

  • Clearly define the problem to be solved including key metrics to be achieved.
  • Succinctly depict cycle times, touch times, key measurements of performance and related pain points and their root causes.
  • Lead team-based problem-solving sessions, including Kaizen events, to develop the target state which eliminates/remediates key pain points and develops key solutions including opportunities for automation.
  • When opportunities for automation are uncovered, work closely with Automation teams to develop requirements for automation solutions.
  • Develop business cases for Senior Management approval,
  • Contribute to other CMCI and ETSE initiatives as needed.
  • Consult with management to determine the needs of our customers to produce target business outcomes and results.
  • Provide strategic consulting insights and advice with our customers to fulfill their needs.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated utilization of measurement systems, hypothesis testing, and VOC practices.
  • Experience developing successful business cases and funding requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Design Thinking certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Open to working in either our DC or VA locations as you may be required to rotate between offices.
