Cellular Tower Climber (Tower Technician)

Help us build America's wireless networks, by working for Capital Tower & Communications, Inc as a Tower Technician who assists in tower maintenance and new construction of cellular towers. Work may be performed at ground level or up to 600 in the air.

General Info:

Job Type: Full-Time Tower Technician Apprenticeship

Starting Pay: $15.00/ Hour (Pay increases come quickly with good performance)

Overtime - Weekly as we like to see 60 hours per week

Travel Required - 4 to 6 weeks on the road then we fly you home for a 7 day break

Qualifications:

High School/GED Required

Must be Authorized to Work in the US

Must be at least 18 years old

Demonstrated experience in construction trades a plus, but no experience necessary.

Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen, physical capacity profile and background check

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Review the scope of work and construction drawings with the Crew Leader.

Assist in verifying that all materials for the project are taken to the job site.

Verify that all tools, equipment and stocked supplies on your truck & trailer are available and in working order.

Inspect each truck & piece of equipment in your charge before use.

Inspect all PFAS (personal fall arrest systems) prior to climbing.

Attend a daily tailgate meeting to address daily tasks and safety issues. Report any safety concerns to the Crew Leader.

Take direction from the Team Leader to perform the job following the scope of work / construction drawings or customer's instructions.

Perform all work in a safe, professional manner. Adhere to our 100% tie-off rule when working above 6 feet or near a leading edge.

Report any deviations from the scope of work/construction drawings to the Team Leader.

Pick up trash on site daily.

Take pictures of final work and provide all turnover documentation.

Clean out truck(s) and trailer(s) after each job and put materials and equipment away.

Begin preparations for next job.
