The Construction Administrator will be responsible for monitoring contracts, preparing progress reports, coordinating schedules, and acting as a liaison between our firm, contractors and Client representatives.

As an Construction Administrator with our firm, a typical day might include the following:

  • Acting as a liaison between our design team, contractors and Client representatives

  • Working closely with the Business Development team in marketing strategies, selling services, and maintaining Client relationships

  • Providing experience to the teams developing construction contract documents

  • Coordinating with Authorities having Jurisdiction

  • Over-all project managing at the construction phase

  • Reviewing and managing project budgets and submittals

  • Responding to RFI’s and provide interpretation of construction documents on behalf of the firm

  • Participating in the resolution of construction issues

  • Ensuring compliance to all company safety requirements and monitor all projects from conceptualization to implementation and prepare reports for same and evaluate punch list for all project close out Provide marketing support for the firm with one-on-one contact with Clients and potential Clients

  • Working closely with both the architectural and engineering staff

  • Performing other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or any other member of the administration

To land this gig, you need to have:

  • Strong mathematical aptitude for reviewing contract quantities and costs, change orders and pay applications.
  • Progressive and relevant experience in the construction industry or construction administrative field
  • Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Products
  • The ability to support multiple projects and people at once
  • The ability to travel often to work sites, be in loud environments, walk in rugged terrain, and stand multiple hours at a time
