Help Wanted
Huffner Contracting, a small construction company focused primarily on residential and light commercial construction, is seeking a full-charge bookkeeper for full-time employment in Wheeling, West Virginia.
A qualified candidate must
have at least five years of experience working as full-charge bookkeeper or staff accountant
have a complete mastery of the accounting cycle, from journal entries and reconciliations to A/R and payroll
have advanced/expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Intuit Quickbooks
be organized and able to work independently
have superior attention to detail
have excellent verbal and written communication skills
We prefer that, in addition to meeting the requirements above, qualified candidates
have an undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or finance
be willing and able to manage a small office (one to two direct reports)
be willing to fill other roles in the office as necessary, from receptionist and personal assistant to HR
Our work schedule is
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
