Commercial/residential project manager for the Appleton area to oversee several projects. Minimum of 8 years experience running projects as an owner or PM. This position is for a strong, motivated person that is a self starter. You need experience in estimating, dealing with clients on change orders and oversee a project from the start to completion. In addition, you will be required to build a project schedule and have your subs and suppliers follow it. This is a very fast paced construction company.We're a design/build general contractor based in Appleton. You will be based in Appleton. Clean record with a good driving background required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
