Wisconsin Independent Living, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company looking to hire Residential Caregivers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions, for both part-time and full-time employment. The clientele we serve may have physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, brain disorders, and/or mental health disorders; and may express challenging or offensive behaviors.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Hold a valid WI Drivers License
Have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Willingness to complete caregiver background check
Starting Wage is $10/hr., $10.50 for third shift.

Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care: You will be responsible for assisting our clients with the completion of their ADLs. This may include, but is not limited to, assisting them with toileting, bathing, grooming, etc. Our goal is to assist them as minimally as possible in accordance with their Individualized Service Plan, with the intention of furthering their independence and personal responsibility.
Community Outings/Transportation: You may be responsible for transporting our clients to their places of employment, appointments, community outings, shopping trips, etc. While some clients may have routines and/or schedules to keep, more often than not, you will be able to suggest activities/outings that you feel the clients will enjoy.
Medication Monitoring: All staff will be training to monitor medications. Medication Monitoring Certification preferred, but not required.
Maintain Safe/Clean Environment: While the heavy cleaning is reserved (mostly) for third shift when the clients are asleep, you may be responsible for some light cleaning, such as, cleaning up after meal prep, vacuuming, taking out the trash, bed-making, etc. You will also be responsible for documenting client interaction and behaviors, along with maintaining the companys safety standards.
Meal Prep: You may be responsible for preparing the clients meals by following provided meal plans. Some clients may have dietary restrictions or guidelines that need to be followed.
