Location: Work from home except during events when you will be needed on-site (in Pickett, WI) to provide on-site support, ensure client satisfaction, and supervise that the event adheres to the agreement.

We recently restored a 4,600 sq ft quonset event venue and barnyard on our family farm in Pickett, Wisconsin. Surrounded by beautiful wild grasses and wildflowers, it provides the perfect backdrop for special events, ideal for capturing memories through photography and videography. The venue offers a stunning atmosphere both day and night, and we are enhancing it with classy, timeless, family-friendly activities in some of our fields.

We seek a dynamic and motivated Event Venue Salesperson to join our team. Our versatile venue is perfect for hosting weddings, family reunions, culinary events, music events, fundraising events, art events, photoshoots, film shoots, and more. If you’re passionate about event planning and sales, this is the perfect opportunity!

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and book events at our 4,600 sq ft quonset venue.

- Maintain and manage the event calendar to ensure smooth scheduling of all events.

- Refer clients to appropriate services to assist them in planning and organizing their events.

- Upsell additional services and features to maximize revenue from each booking.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless event execution.

- Provide on-site support during events to ensure client satisfaction.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and events.

- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

- Plan and promote our own events, such as food trucks and/or music events, to generate income during off-peak times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in event planning, coordination, promotion, and sales.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

- Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
