Fred J Piette Company is a Commercial General Contractor located in Appleton, WI that has been in business for over 98 years. We work for multiple franchisees and national retail clients throughout the state of Wisconsin on a continued basis. We have an immediate opening for pre-engineered metal building erectors to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
-Unload trucks and haul and hoist materials
-Prepare materials prior to assembly
-Position steel units, align holes and insert bolts while checking alignments and joining steel connections
-Install building insulation, metal cladding, standing seam roofs
-Install gutters, downspouts and all necessary trim
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years experience in erecting pre-engineered metal buildings
-Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
-Must understand and be able to properly use Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platforms
-Effective time management and communication skills and attention to detail
-Ability to travel
-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-OSHA training preferred
Compensation: $18 - $28/hour starting pay based on experience
