WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will review transportation contracts to identify cost saving opportunities, determine proper codes for export requests, ensure compliance to international shipment regulations, and coordinate shipments based on customer requirements.
⢠Coordinate pick up and delivery of re-routed or re-cosigned freight and assist with preparation of routing guides for shipping locations
⢠Process freight claims with carriers and warehouses for losses, damages, product overages, and product shortages
⢠Assist with freight audits to ensure accurate payment
WHAT YOU NEED:
⢠6 months of office / administrative support experience or data entry experience or will consider a recent graduate with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
⢠Transportation, shipping / receiving, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, buying, or related manufacturing experience is a plus
⢠Prefer knowledge of import/export transportation documents or codes
⢠Prefer experience working with transportation vendors
⢠Strong data entry skills
⢠Basic MSWD and Excel
⢠Detail oriented and accurate
⢠Strong interpersonal verbal/oral communication skills
Hours: Full-time hours between 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay for the Logistics Coordinator position: $14.00 - $16.00 / hr.
