McDonough Mfg Co is a family owned and operated manufacturer of custom sawmill machinery. McDonough Designs, Fabricates, Machines (CNC and Manual), Assembles, Tests, and Paints all our machinery right here in our Eau Claire factory. We have been based in the Chippewa Valley since 1888. We have a position open on the 1st shift due to growth.
Painters will paint small and large custom steel manufactured parts and assemblies. As time permits you would be assembling of large custom designed sawmill equipment along with wire for electrical and plumb for hydraulic and pneumatic controls. Experience Painting with strong mechanical skills is required. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, bearings, sprockets, chain and other power transmission components is highly desireable. Print reading and math skills are necessary along with the ability to lift up to 75lbs.
1st shift normally work Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm. Overtime available also.
Compensation: Negotiable - Dependent on qualifications.
