Looking to hire agronomy minded salesperson to work with and increase sales in northern half of Wis. I-90 and north, mainly western side of Wis. and eastern side of Mn. Previous seed sales a plus, agronomy experience helpful, must be self motivated, honest, and hard working.

We are full service seedsmen - conducting our own research, planting a large amount of our seed on our own land or related land. We harvest, process, and package our own seed in our own seed plant, as well as packaging seed for other companies. We then deliver our seed directly to our customers and we service what we sell.
Job Description:

Sales Representatives are responsible to provide service and consultation necessary to earn our customers' business every day.
Sales Representatives act as the liaison between Kussmaul Seeds and our customers and dealers. This may include, but is not limited to, travel and direct coordination to ensure we provide the best advice, products, and services in a timely and professional manner. In this position, a Sales Representative will interact with customers, dealers, and all levels of the Kussmaul Seeds organization.
Job Functions:
Serve as liaison between the customer/dealer and Kussmaul Seeds
Act as a technical advisor and consultant for our customers
Where qualified, conduct field evaluations and report findings and conclusions
Aggressively seek and close opportunities with customers and selling dealers
Direct sales to customers
Deliver shipments of seed to customers
Pick up any returned seed a customer may have
Place field signs for customers
Job Requirements:
2-years previous experience and/or education in the agriculture industry is desired.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Ability, willingness, and desire to work independently while remaining a key component of the overall team.
An ability to listen attentively.
Interpersonal and negotiating abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks.
Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
