RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
- Test drive vehicles to verify guest concerns and ensure full repair resolution
- Test vehicle components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Managers to keep clients informed of their vehicle status
- Provide estimates of time required for additional repairs, if needed
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new things
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid drivers license
- Career driven mindset
- Must pass background and drug screen
