Description
The position of test engineering technician works at the direction of an engineer or lead technician to support ongoing development of equipment and processes that will be used in the testing of product throughout the it's lifecycle. Primary tasks associated with this role include assembly, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment along with documentation of work performed.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
Experience with mechanical assembly and familiarity with hand/power tools
Ability to read mechanical prints and follow assembly instructions
Experience with electrical panel assembly and associated tools
Ability to read electrical schematics
Ability to read a bill of material (BOM)
Good communication skills, both face to face and written
Good organizations skills
High School degree with applicable experience
In additional to the required attributes, the ideal candidate would have any of the following:
Electromechanical system design/development experience
Experience with electrical diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc)
Experience developing in CAD environment (Solidworks or Autocad preferred)
Controls programming experience (PLC or similar)
Associate degree in engineering technology or related field

2-5 years: Experience with Mechanical and Electrical manufacturing systems.
Will be performing buffer media manufacturing in a lab environment
Will utilize lab equipment and established SOPs to accomplish daily goals
Will utilize ERP and communication skill (verbal and written) to document activities and ensure quality compliance
Will inventory and track raw materials and finished product
