Alpha Delights is looking for an energetic Front Counter Café Associate to join out team! Alpha Delights is open Tuesday- Saturday, the days and hours for this position would vary (roughly 10-20 hours). We are looking for someone who is friendly, energetic and a multitasker!
Provide direct service to customers including taking breakfast, lunch and basic bakery cash & carry orders, taking and delivering basic special bakery & café orders
Practice basic up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
Aware of status of all orders on order clipboards and know location of all finished ordered products
Package ordered products in advance of pick-up time
Handle cash register & credit card machine transaction for customers
Ensure continuously attractive presentation of products both in the cases and in merchandising areas
Restock cold case products
Ensure proper freshness and presentation standards are being met for all products
Keep cake inventory log sheet and product stale logs accurate
Perform all opening requirements, when scheduled
Answer phone and take orders or answer questions
Other various tasks
