Capital Credit Union is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist - Website Strategist to join our team in Green Bay, WI today!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist - Website Strategist to uphold the Credit Union’s mission of “Doing the Right Thing” by executing the strategies to promote the overall image of the credit union and its products and services. Primary responsibilities include coordinating website strategy, assessments and updates, providing strategy and creative ideas for campaigns, communicating with employees, members, and vendors, analyzing media channels, assisting with events and charitable activities, and looking for opportunities that promote the Credit Union philosophy. To also go along with our ongoing health initiatives, Capital offers employees the opportunity to become CPR and First Aid certified- 61 employees are currently certified.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the routine member correspondence such as social media posts, statement inserts, brochures, and special notices
  • Provide creative campaign ideas and channel strategy
  • Coordinate website strategy, assessments and updates
  • Maintain brand identity
  • Coordinate and participate in various charitable activities the Credit Union supports
  • Work with individual Branch Managers to help support needs specific to that particular branch
  • Track and control expenditures as they relate to the advertising/promotion/public relations function
  • Assist in the execution of ongoing branding campaigns
  • Keep employees informed of any advertising/programs in a timely manner
  • Maintain an awareness of current products and stay informed of new industry developments and potential products/services, including the technical aspects, of these products
  • Conduct market research to maximize the advertising results as it applies to target marketing, demographic considerations, delivery channels, and media selection
  • Interpret key documents and make decisions based on Credit Union policies and member data
  • May assist the Assistant Vice President of Marketing in various other duties including, but not limited to, researching projects, special events such as grand openings or new product launches, and overall branding functions
  • Assist the Vice President of Marketing with advancing the member advocacy mission of the credit union, including but not limited to, conceiving and producing promotional materials and exploring new avenues of business
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse group of employees, both on an individual basis as well as in group settings
  • Manage a budget, pay close attention to detail and maintain an extremely high degree of accuracy as it relates to both expenses and promotional material
  • Demonstrate consistent leadership traits and support overall business objectives
  • Set an example by maintaining a professional demeanor and atmosphere
  • Limited travel required to various branches, meetings, seminars, and conferences

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or in marketing or related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 2+ years of Digital Marketing/Graphic Design experience preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of Microsoft Office, online computer and basic office machines experience required
  • Knowledgeable of local marketing mediums and strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of the member advocacy process in general
  • Basic knowledge of Credit Union products, services and procedures
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Analytical ability to research and resolve problems/concerns from both external and internal customers
  • Must be able to translate technical (procedural) information for a non-technical audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of employees, members and potential members (business partners and related business partners)
  • Strong oral communication, listening and public speaking skills
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend detailed and technical instructions, regulations, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write effectively in a wide variety of situations including, but not limited to: specific target markets, various levels of employees and management, the general public, business professionals, and members of the media
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement things in a changing environment
  • Demonstrate good motivational skills with the ability to provide common-sense answers
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead teams of all sizes
  • Must be able to closely examine documentation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to stay organized and to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible
  • Must be able to occasionally travel for events, meetings, etc.
