Full-time Seasonal Pro Shop Manager

Location: Monroe, WI

Hours: Monday - Sunday; hours vary between 8a - 8p

Pay: $13+ DOE

Position Overview:Â

The Golf Shop Manager is a detail-oriented, trustworthy and responsible person that will help manage the day to day golf operations.

Perform day to day tasks of managing the Golf Shop, working opening and/or closing shifts, supervising outside services and pro shop staff.

Be an Ambassador for the Golf Course and ensure that members and guests have an exceptional customer experience.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

• High school diploma or equivalent

• A minimum of six months experience as cashier or sales clerk

• General knowledge of the game of golfÂ

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Demonstrated skills in the proper handling of money

• Working knowledge of basic computer programs

• Ability to work unsupervised

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Register players and assign them their tee time, making sure all golfers sign daily register

• Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions

• Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop

• Maintain daily records and reports

• Remain courteous with patrons at all times

• Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Park District’s safety program

• Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work a flexible scheduleÂ

• Must be pleasant, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous at all times while dealing with our members and guests

• Must be detail - orientated and able to manage in a fast-paced environment

• Strong computer skills are helpful!

• Candidates must be willing to learn merchandising procedures, pricing, loss prevention, and inventory control.
