Part-Time/Full-time Seasonal Pro Shop Staff
Location: Monroe, WI
Hours: Monday - Sunday; hours vary between 8a - 8p
Pay: $10+ DOE
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players and assigning tee times to the golfers.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
⢠High school diploma or equivalent
⢠A minimum of six months experience as cashier or sales clerk
⢠General knowledge of the game of golf is a PLUS!!
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
⢠Demonstrated skills in the proper handling of money
⢠Working knowledge of basic computer programs
⢠Ability to work unsupervised
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Answer telephone, record incoming calls, and take starting time reservations
⢠Register players and assign them their tee time, making sure all golfers sign daily register
⢠Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions
⢠Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop
⢠Maintain daily records and reports
⢠Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Park Districtâs safety program
⢠Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments
