REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager SALARY: $48,000 - $65,000SUMMARY:The Warehouse Administrator’s primary role is to oversee the daily functions and processes of the stockroom, raw storage and inventory management. This position will need to implement functions to optimize the follow of Raw Material, WIP and FG inventory to maximize inventory turns and reduce carrying costs. This position is responsible for efficient and effective storage of materials and be familiar with the company’s ERP system modules in collaboration with operations, engineering, production control and finance. QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of warehousing leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Detail oriented, with exception organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in timely manner
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills building effective cross-function partnerships
Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the warehouse, storage and handling of raw material, WIP and FG inventory
Assist with the training and troubleshooting of the company’s ERP system as it relates to stockroom and inventory functions.
Performs extensive analysis of storage methods, pick transaction and identifying process, system and training deficiencies.
Communicates critical information to Supply Chain Manager in a timely manner
Designs, implements, and tests internal controls, documentation, reporting, training, systems and solutions to improve storage locations accuracy.
Establishes partnerships with other departments to build inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls, practices and systems.
Assists with the development and maintenance of the cycle count program, providing counting instructions, variance reporting, and reconciliation of daily counting activity.
Manage inventory activity by reviewing the reported dollar value and quantities for work-in-process, hardware, and finished goods inventories. Additionally, monitor the adjustments made against these reported values.
Determines/manages offsite warehouse transactions, including inventory storage practices and shipping methods.
Recommends and develops strategies related to inventory storage
Research aged inventory and resolved appropriately
Responsible for managing FG contract inventory and reporting to the sales team
Works on miscellaneous projects as needed
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Oversees coordination of in-state inventory transfer moves to our offsite warehouse storage facility.
Ensures the integrity, organization and safety of inventory stored in the stockroom, production, or any offsite warehouse that is needed.
Manage obsolete and slow moving inventory with the goal of driving to a zero dollars
Responsible for timely and accurate month end reporting and inventory related processes
