American Construction Metals (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, produces a wide array of metal building materials including trim coil, edge metal, gutter systems, and a variety of other metal accessories. ACM is seeking Set-Up Technicians to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and die changes of all the machinery in the production area. If you're looking for a manufacturing position with an established company, we want to hear from you!
Specific duties include:
Performing all duties safely and as directed
Monitoring the condition of all machines
Completing die changes on production machinery
Operating machines and manufacturing equipment
Cutting and feeding metal coil into machines
Ensuring that all machines are capable of meeting quality standards and that the set-up of machines meets those standards
Performing adjustments to machines to improve product quality
Packaging product per specifications
Being trained and certified on various equipment
Qualifications include:
Machine operating experience and the ability to read calipers and tape measures is a plus
Experience with interpreting and reading blueprints
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
