Exclusively Roses is a family owned company based in Stoughton that supplies 750 retailers in Wisconsin and Chicagoland with freshly made flower bouquets. As we continue to grow, we are looking for bright and energetic individuals to join our team.
We are currently searching for a warehouse supervisor. The warehouse supervisor will be responsible for the direction of other warehouse team, general warehouse organization and equipment maintenance.
Accountabilities:.
Provide fair and consistent feedback on team work methods
Handle employee questions, concerns and follow-up on issues
Provide a transparent work schedule to the team
Organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and all dock space
Coordinate maintenance of the machine equipment (flower cutter, washing equipment, coolers, strappers, etc.)
Coordinate maintenance of company vehicles
Pack and sort weekly route inventories
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or Bachelor degree is a plus).
Preferred Two (2) years in supervisory capacity; three (3) years related to a production environment.
Previous experience in perishable production environment preferred.
Reading, writing, and math skills at a proficient level.
Proficient computer skills utilizing Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to pick up new software quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multi-task environment.
Able to wear many hats and be a flexible, adaptable team player.
Able to adapt for holiday rushes as needed and take on additional tasks outlined by leadership.
Physical Requirements.
Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 55 pounds, in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a pallet jack proficiently.
Must have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time.
Regularly works in warehouse environment with heat and cold, including coolers and refrigerators in temperatures as low as 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
